Ahoy!
It’s been quite a week! We´ve been planning our July´s trip to Croatia, and my summer job has started with pleasant morning wake ups at 4:30am!
Even though I´ve been quite a zombie after work, I visited Olli (lega) on Tuesday planning to book the flights, but somehow I found myself sitting on a boat with fishing rod on my hand. We were trolling while enjoying the great weather, zero clouds on the sky and cool breeze balancing the hot sunshine, ahh, just a great way to chill. We didn´t actually catch any fish, only one clam was caught by me because the bait hit the floor and got stuck on it.
After relaxing fishing trip we booked the flights. We had already planned our flights so it was only matter of paying them. So our flight plan is this: We’re flying from Tampere to Frankfurt-Hahn on Tuesday 13.7. and we are staying there over night. On the next morning we are flying to Zadar and taking a bus to Split. And we´re staying at Split till Monday and then taking same trip back to home. And if everything goes well we will be back home on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday we browsed the options where to stay at Split. The hotels and motels were really cheap, only from 12euros per night. But those weren´t actually what we wanted, we decided that we should rent an apartment. After comparing our options Olli contacted the owners. For our loss the best option, an apartment closest to the beach and with large terrace was already reserved. But we got an apartment from the center: 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and two balconies, and only 3km from the beach. Also heard that the center of some summer party thing is just around the corner ;)
We haven´t yet decided what to do over night at Frankfurt, so that’s must be planned and also we must check the places at Split where we want to visit. If anyone got some ideas or has already visited Frankfurt or Split, please tell us ^^!
